Common uses

People use a date calculator to count down to holidays and weddings, work out notice periods, check deadlines for invoices and returns, and count working days on a project.

About working days

Working days here are Monday to Friday. UK bank holidays vary by nation: Northern Ireland has St Patrick's Day and 12 July, Scotland has 2 January and St Andrew's Day, and Scotland's summer bank holiday falls in early August rather than late August. Easter Monday is a bank holiday everywhere except Scotland. Subtract any that fall in your range for an exact figure.

Frequently asked questions

Does the count include the end date?

No. The calculator counts the days from the start date up to, but not including, the end date. Add one if you want to include both days.

Are bank holidays excluded from working days?

No. Working days are Monday to Friday. Bank holidays differ between England and Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, so subtract any that fall in your range.

How do I find the date 90 days from today?

Use the add or subtract section. Today's date is filled in for you, so just enter 90 in the days box.
