Calculator results are estimates based on the information you enter and on the published rates we use. They make simplifying assumptions, which are explained on each tool's page, for example a standard tax code or the rates for one part of the UK. Rates change

Tax rates, thresholds, allowances and interest rates change, often in each Budget and each April. We aim to update our tools promptly, but there may be a delay. Each guide shows the date it was published or last updated.
