About Sumly

Sumly is a collection of free tools for everyday jobs: working out take-home pay, stamp duty, mortgage payments and VAT, counting words, creating passwords and QR codes, converting units and calculating dates.

Every tool runs in your browser, so it's quick and private. There's no sign-up and nothing to install.

Who runs this site

Sumly is built and run by Andrew Crymble in Northern Ireland. We keep the money calculators up to date when tax rates and thresholds change, usually each April.

We take care to keep every calculator accurate, but results are a guide only and are not financial, tax or legal advice. If you spot a mistake or want a new tool, please get in touch.
